Il y a 10 ans, le crew Oxygen débutait son invasion à coup de break et de basse. De passage à Paris, Rico son fondateur exilé a concocté un 15 août torride.
En 10 ans, le Batofar a connu quelques rénovations ! Mais ce qui a sans doute le moins changé c’est bien la cale. Un haut lieu du clubbing que les DJ’s d’Oxygen connaissent bien pour avoir fait trembler le sol plus d’une fois. Menés par DJ Rico qui a décidé de partir sous le soleil de Miami il y a quelques années, les soirées se sont faites plus rares. Son acolyte Zam’x, toujours à Paris, mais aussi un peu ailleurs, a cependant maintenu le flambeau.
Alors quand Rico rentre au bercail, ils en profitent pour organiser une petite sauterie, comme au bon vieux temps, en conviant Matt Cantor, le DJ et producteur de The Freestylers réputé pour ses sets explosifs breakbeat. Le duo avignonnais Mr (a. k.a Cedr’X) & Mme Benoît monte aussi à la capitale pour un mix deep house frappadingue et féminin. Et les deux hôtes, Rico et Zam’x ne lâcheront rien jusqu’au petit matin entre électro, techno et break.

10 years ago, the Oxygen crew began its invasion of a break and bass. While in Paris, its founder Rico has concocted a torrid August 15.
In 10 years, the Batofar has had some renovations! But what has probably not changed is the underground vibe! A clubbing mecca that Oxygen Djs are familiar for making the walls shake more than once. Led by DJ Rico who decided to leave in sunny Miami a few years ago, the parties have become a bit more rare. Zam’x, still in Paris, but also a little elsewhere, however, kept the torch.
So when Rico returns home, they take the opportunity to organize a little party, as in the good old days, by inviting Matt Cantor, DJ and producer of The Freestylers known for his explosive breakbeat sets. The duo Mr & Mrs Benoit (aka Cedr’X) will invade the capital for a deep house mix, frappadingue and feminine. And two hosts, Rico & Zam’x will not leave any of it until dawn.
The main genres of the night being electro, techno and breaks.
