A NEW CONCEPT EVENT SHOWCASING THE WEALTH OF TALENT THE DRUM AND BASS SCENE HAS TO OFFER IDENTIFYING THE REAL STARS OF THE FUTURE.

BRE★KTHROUGH WITH GIVE THE FRESHEST « BRE★KTHROUGH » TALENT A PLATFORM TO BE HEARD BY THE MASSES. WE HAVE CHOSEN ONE OF BIRMINGHAM’S FINEST VENUES TO HOST THIS EVENT MORE DETAILS WILL FOLLOW.

THE MAIN ROOM WILL BE HANDPICKED TALENT FROM ACROSS THE UK AND EUROPE THAT HAVE SHOWN DEVELOPMENT AND MOVEMENT IN THE SCENE FROM PRODUCERS TO DJS AND MCS, YOU HAVE SEEN BREAKIN’ THE MAIN ROOM AND PUTTING IN THE HARD WORK..

WE WILL OPEN THE SECOND ARENA FOR A COMPETITION AND THE BEST MIXES FROM DJS AND MCS ALIKE WILL BE PICKED TO PLAY AND SHOW CASE THERE TALENT. THE OVERALL WINNER WILL WIN THE OPENING SET IN THE MAIN ROOM.

Here is how the competition will work:
DJs and or Mcs or both, this will be open to MCs just rolling on a pre-recorded mix or for Djs with no Mcs or the combination of the two!
You are required to submit a 20 minutes mix and this should be no longer than 20 minutes, With a link from either a Soundcloud or Mixcloud account using this Eflyer as the picture for the mix to the following email address: (Other formats will not be accepted and removed immediately)
We will announce the closing date soon of the comp. When we have closed the comp we will choose the best 30 mixes. We will then ask the national drum and bass awards public to choose their best mix hosted on our Facebook fan page by clicking like or love on the soundcloud (the artist will be expected to push there mix out to the public). The 10 mix’s with the most loves and likes will be chosen and offered a set in the second room @ the « Breakthrough » event. (The DJ with the most likes, loves, will open the proceedings on the breakthrough main room as special treat)
The team @ The national drum and bass and a special guest judge will then judge the second room sets.
The supreme champion will win a set at the 2016 THE NATIONAL DRUM AND BASS AWARDS.
(You can post sets on this wall but they will not be judged)
